This is a 'must-have' book for anyone who is in the pet care industry. I am a dog trainer who is about to open a new facility to do board and train. This book has been immensely helpful in both helping me prepare for what I need to do and educating me on what to do if any calamities strike. I feel so much more confident in going forward with my new business since reading this book. It is clear, concise and covers everything you can think of. I highly recommend it!
Sonya takes a relatively boring (but much needed and overlooked) topic and makes it clear and interesting. If you're in the pet industry, this is a must read. Not only is it a must read, but you really need to follow through on the things she outlines. I had a business continuity/recovery plan because my husband is in the BCP industry and he's done plans for large businesses, but this book was designed for pet businesses and is the first of it's kind. Thanks Sonya for helping me improve my plan and for writing this.
